Mission Statement
The mission of this Pitman Class is to offer the best education and training possible and to provide its graduates and under-graduates with the knowledge and skills to excel as professionals in the multifaceted field of court reporting. We also feel it is important to continually upgrade the profession; for this reason, our standards are, in many respects, higher than those required by other educational institutions in the field. We want our graduates and under-graduates to possess more than the minimum skills that would allow them to secure entry-level positions.
Teaching Philosophy
Our philosophy is that success depends on personal integrity, dedication to a strong work ethic, and continual education to keep pace with today's ever-changing technological world. Our highly qualified teachers are experts in their respective fields, who will give you the hands on training you need to prepare youself to excel in your new career. At the Steno-type Institute, we have an average 95% job placement rate since its establishment. So you can look forward to starting your new high-paying career soon after 10+2.
In this Institute, we place a strong emphasis on establishing and developing the talent in each student by providing unmatched personalized training and support. We believe that the support we provide creates the best possible learning environment and equips our students with the tools they need to be successful in our program and become a successful Stenographer.
Our instructors realize that when a student is involved in the rigorous program required to learn how to become a reporter, there will be times along the way when he or she will become discouraged. If too much time elapses in the receipt of lessons from a student, the instructor uses a variety of techniques to motivate the student and get them back on track. We encourage all our students to keep in regular contact with their instructors and discuss any problems they may be having with them in regard to Stenography.
